Yes of course you can ,and walk over a sticky mess when the sun warms it. Get down to your nearest building supplies and find something suitable, I think most sell small bags of tarmac for you to do yourself but beware its not as easy as it looks .Failing that ,do you have a tarmac contractor local ask for a price to re surface if and when he has a bit left over from another job

No I wouldn't use bitumen try some RENO tarmac reviver it's easy to apply and should do the job for you.

If you have a ashelt plant reasonably close they make a tar/bitumen that can be poured cold and put stones on it its sold in 5 gal drums spread it over and throw some stones down and roll it

bitumen paint is the wrong compound but you can obtain a special paintable compound from most builders supply that will freshen your driveway plus you can also ask for advice from the assistants you can also obtain similar things from diy shops

Yeah this will be fine as long as the felt is fully dry obviously. two coats would be needed to provide a full waterproof seal. good luck.

sorry but its not meant for that purpose ...its too thick to put in a roller ...and its expensive
