Its a small knob with a tiny hole in the center. NO screws. No hinges. Those are all in the inside of the room. I tried poking an icepick in the little hole and it didn't work....What do I do??

Why are you locked out anyway? LOL. That happens. You can use the end of a copper hanger. Or maybe stick the end of a pencil in there. Hope this helps! :D

If your knob locks by turning it, you need a tiny screwdriver to fit in that hole - you can unlock it by turning the screwdriver. There is a small 'emergency' key with locks like this, though they tend to get lost, heheh. It looks very much like the old 'key' used to open canned meat.

Push knob locks would open by simply pushing an item in that hole, to release the lock - but if yours turns, then you need something to turn it. Some folks will put their emergency key along the top trim of the door, you might check to see if you have one there, or on a nearby shelf, or in a kitchen drawer.

first two answers were half good. once you put something in the middle of the little hole you have to turn the knob to open the door.

maybe try something a little thinner to poke in the hole i used the inside of a pen (the ink tube)

put a toothpick or something in the hole, when you are in the right place you should feel a "give" when you push in, then turn the handle and it should open

some of them use a small screw driver shaped tool. just try a small screwdriver and twist.
