They shouldn't be dirty, they're sealed. Contact Velux customer services they may replace them depending on age.

You cant possibly clean the inside without causing damage to the seal. The inside of our velux windows suffered bad condensation as the windows were very old so we had no other choice but to replace them. which cost us £400 to do bedroom and bathroom from b&q :)

If you mean the inside face of the glass in the sealed section, it is not possible to clean this surface. It is hermetically sealed and if the seal leaks, moisture condenses on the inside surface of the external sheet causing stains and/or mist to appear in certain conditions. There is no alternative but to replace the sealed unit.

If they are dirty on the inside they were either like that from new and hence faulty or the seal is broken - dirt can't get in if they are sealed - Check if they are still under guarantee as they should be replaced (or just put up with it)

sealed means sealed, you cannot clean between the doubled glazed parts.

If it appears that there is moisture or dirt between the parts then you have a faulty unit.

If they are still under warranty then contact the installers first.

If out of warranty then you will have to consider the cost

If they are cloudy they need to be replaced. Contact a Velux dealer for replacement sashes.

Very true.....if you are seeing something in between the glass, the seal may be broken already. Of course, it can be an optical illusion as well and what you're seeing may be on the outside of the glass.
