Ok I keep a very clean home yet mice are taking over my home! I have 4 little dogs so I can't put out rat posion in fear they will get it knowing mice tend to travel it around. Fatal traps just are not cutting it, is there anything I can get that is pet friendly but effective to kill or keep mice away???

Hello, THIS is a very good website that shows many different ways to get rid of mice Naturally. Also, Dogs have different immune systems than cats and therefore may not be able to handle the possible diseases that mice carry; it's best to put up mice REPELLENTS rather than traps inside your home. Wouldn't you rather keep the mice outside in the first place rather than deal with them in your home?

Purchase a bait trap that only the mice can access, you can find them on the intenet, place them outside so the outside mice have access to them. I have mine screwed to a small plank so that they will stay in place. Pets can not access the bait. You should trap the mice inside and not poison these at this location as they may crawl into a crevice somewhere in the home and die. I place these bait traps around my motorhome, my son's minihome, and my other son's 5th wheel camper. We have not had a mouse problem since we started doing this bait procedure. I also have one placed in my outside shed to poison the mice that may be near my garage and home, no problem for several years now. Good Luck.

There are the little packets of poison pellets you can buy that rodents will tear into and eat, but dogs and cats will not. Especially if you throw them into the attic or under the house where your pets can't get to them. They worked great for me. Mice/squirrels were dead within a week and no stinky smells because it dries their bodies out. Get them at hardware/home improvement store.

Put all your grain into sealed plastic containers. (rice bread cracker etc)

do not eat food anywhere but the kitchen

a cat or a black snake does well to eat the mice

Snap traps work and will not hurt the dog but will break the mouses neck

this one works awesome, put peanut butter on it for bait

Maybe you could add cats to your list of pets. Despite reputations they are known to get along with dogs under the same roof. You describe your dogs as little. Maybe they will be best of friends. That is my thought anyway.
