A couple of months ago we had a HVAC come in and change the heating sensor on our gas furnance.
Immediately afterwards the furnace came on in 2 degree increments. The HVAC did not touch the thermostat and the thermostat still says its working in 1 degree increments.

Problem is, the heat comes on and stays on for so long that it makes me feel sick. I have a baby and it wakes her up for being too warm. I have to remove her covers and stay up because then it gets too cold and baby gets really cold nd I have to put the covers back on her. Please help, we called the tech and he has no idea why it would be happening. I need a decent nights sleep -- please help.

Seriously needs this fixed or else I will have to purchase a new furnance -- its that bad.

I can understand the Tech not wanting to come back since he did not touch anything to do with that, but you would have thought just out of kindness he'd checked everything out after he got it running just to bo a Good Repairman. if the thermostat is able to do 1 degree settings and you can't figure it out why not post it on here and see if we can help you through it. Usually it's just reprogramming the thermostat.
