I have a few quick questions. I took off my lawn mower blade to get sharpen and I was wondering If there is a certain side to face against the lawn mower when putting it back on? Or is the blades curve the same on both sides? Do you need to have a new blade sharpened before using cause a new blade seems dull to the touch to me...Thanks

Personally I sharpen new blades. I've heard arguments on both sides of this, but I sharpen them anyway.

Mark the blade before you remove it so you can re-install it to its original position.

The beveled side of the sharpened blade goes up. No, you don't need to sharpen new blades. The more you sharpen them the faster they will dull unless you are real careful about the heat on the edge of the blade.

the grinded (or ground) side goes up.
