:i live in a crappy apt.with a crappy landlord what do u think? I want some repairs done to my cooker as it has backfired and burnt my knob off.

Have you asked yet? Call your landlord up. Explain the problem. If your repairs aren't completed or at least attempted in a due and timely manner, make a written request for repairs, date it, sign and inform him that you have a copy and will be expecting a response.

I have properties that I rent out and I believe in fixing things that are broken in my apartments. Your landlord should fix the stove for you.

maybe later he will but not right away unless u turn him in to somewhere my landlord is the same way very lazy at fixing something unless ur on his butt all the time about it and calling him.believe me i have to its a pain in the butt.aggervating!!

He probably won't want to, but there are laws saying that he has to. They vary by city, so it might take some research on your part, but it will be worth it.
