I have semi-wet sidewalk concrete in front of my house. My sister went out and accidentally stepped in it creating shallow footprints. My already aggravated mom was furious to the point that she left the house. How do I smooth out the concrete? I have no smoother thingy. PLEASE HELP!

Honest to God! You should leave it. It will always be there as a funny reminder, the sidewalk will still work just fine.

Years ago I was trying to take a fairly long video of the waves gently lapping on a lake with a beautiful autumn colored forested mountain in the background. The camera was on a tri-pod just over the water. Then sure enough, my big beautiful Alaskan Malamute can be heard lapping at the water and walks a couple of feet in front of the camera, right through the frame. I was really pissed. Years later, my favorite part of that video is my dog walking through the view! :)

Wet down a 12-24 inch piece of 2x4 and "work" the concrete with that. If it is starting to set-up then lightly sprinkle some water on the concrete and then work it. Good Luck!

Anything like a dough roller would work (just make sure you wash it off)

if its so hard that she only left shallow footprints, there is not much you can do...best to just leave them...
