My new apartment has one of those water and ice dispensers on the front of it and the "spill tray" which is plastic, has water mineral deposits all over it. Me and my roomie were going to soak it in CLR, but we weren't sure if it would damage the plastic or not... Do any of you guys know?

The CLR won't hurt the plastic. You shouldn't have to leave it on for too long tho. Sometimes when you've got a spot like that if you soak a sponge in the CLR - then put the sponge in the tray - it works better.

Should be fine. And even if it does damage it who cares.
