Garage door panel replacement.?

A little while ago I was riding a dirt bike around a friends driveway and when i pressed the front brake the throttle went back and I drove right into the garage. It damaged the bottom left panel. I am responsible to pay for it and was wondering if it could be repaired. I live in Bozeman, Montana, and the garage door is made of composite.

you will probably repace the entire bottom panel...from the left side all the way across to the end right panel garage doors are usually made up of 3 or for long panels...that are hinged together...an expert carpenter can probably replace just that end panel... then hopefully match the paint...compare price's

As stated in previous answer you can replace just a section as long as it is still manufactured. The only way you'll get someone to make one is if it is a wood door, and then how structurally is it going to be? Which you stated that it is rusting, so that should eliminate wood! Garage doors have a lot of pressure/tension on them, especially the bottom one. If there is not a manufactures sticker on the inside of one of the door panels check the side of the door. A lot of manufactures put labels on the side of the sections (less noticeable) or they will put them on the track somewhere. Hopefully you will be able to find a sticker some where which should give you all the info you need.
