It operates fine until it hits the rinse cycle then it just stops and won't drain and continue on with the rinse cycle. It doesn't matter if you have it on the quick wash, regular or gentle settings. If you move the timer knob to a different rinse setting, it will sometimes vibrate (the knob), sometimes not. Is this an issue with the timer knob, the pump, the motor or a belt?

How old is the machine. What is the brand.

It could be the timer or a gear shift that is called a wig wag.

Chances are you only have one belt, so, if it agitates during the wash cycle it is not the belt.

If it is an old machine it may have a mechanical timer/control knob which operates a series of contact points that some time arc and stick so that when the cam tries to open the points it will not open.

Try tapping the knob. Also, take the cover off the back (if it is an old machine) and watch what happens when it tries to shift from wash to drain..

in case you purchased GE, or Maytag, call an exorsist. in case you have something else a) Im jealous as all hell and b) rinses are many times chilly, on the same time as washes may be temperature adjusted or blended components. you ought to also have a blocked line interior the washer no longer basically from the plumbing attitude. do no longer purchase NEW. Its no longer rather truthfully worth the residing bleep. try employing a cord and notice in case you have any kinks interior the line, additionally try filling the device with warm then chilly then heat and watch what happens on the same time as filling. And rinse cycles have 2 varieties spray and fill so the now washcycle takes for evuh. additionally examine to be certain in the journey that your warm water tank is filling for the duration of wash rinse cycle, which will drain potential or your doing laundry for the duration of peek flush time. OH, my amazing wash device sucked the water from the chilly and compelled it returned into the nice and cozy water tank inflicting undue relaxing.
