i have a stove that is like 30 yrs old, my landlord keeps sending out a repair man that says there is nothing wrong with the stove even though the left burners pilot light does not stay lit nor does the oven get to the temp that it is set to.

Be careful what you wish for, he might decide to get you an electric stove, then your electric bill would be higher.

you might have to get a repairman on your own and have him take a look at the stove and if he finds the problem and can fix it then you can submit your bill to the landlord or ask him to adjust your rent for the month for the repair but then again it is a great idea to look over your lease before you take any further action

Keep bothering the landlord every week. If that does not work-is there someone above the landlord? If it still doesn't get worked out call code complience.
