Is it a good idea to buy a house after the foundation repair has done by 32 Pier for 3000sq in 2017 ,2 story house ?built 1989 .?

Hi, we found a house that is of interest to us and we were told that the foundation work has been done in August 2017 .Seller has stated that clearly and the documentation is provided as well. Is it a good idea to buy a house after the foundation repair is done ( foundation repaired by 32 Pier for 3000sq two story house ) ?The house is 29 years old and August 2017 the foundation work has been done. Any suggetion?

You should get it looked over by a Structural Engineer. You need independent advice, so don't rely on anther foundation company as they are in the business of creating work for themselves.

If you have your doubts get it properly inspected. The repair may be poor, it may be very good - we can't see from here.

My suggestion would be to hire someone from another foundation company to inspect the work and repairs done. Many foundation repairs are not adequate for the underlying problem if they chose the cheaper repairs, but each situation is unique and requires an independent expert to assess the situation.
