You need the correct size of torx screwdriver. They come is several sizes. You can also buy the bits for a cordless driver. That might be cheaper, but you still need to get the correct size.

Yup, go to Sears if you got them nearby and get the set. Be aware... there are some Torx that are made for security purposes. These will have a small pin in the head. Its almost impossible to find the Torx driver sets with this hole in the tip. Check to see which type of screw you have, regular or security. If you cannot find the one with the holes in the end, you can buy a cheaper set at like Wal Mart and you can drill the hole in the tip with a good drill and high quality metal bit.

Are you really meaning a TORX screw? A torx screw is generally shaped like a star. It is installed like any other screw, that is, with a driver shaped like the inset in the top of the screw. Such as, a phillips is shaped like a +, a slotted screw is shaped like a -, and so on. I am not trying to be over simplistic but your question leads me to believe that you are speaking of a 'one way screw' such as those that would be used on public restroom stall doors that are meant not to be removed easily with conventional tools. That being said, these screws are removed with special drivers that have two protruding carbide tips. These are not readily available to the general public as a rule.

not an easy one this youve damaged the screws by trying to use a philips you could try using a flat headed screwdriver that fits in the gap you may just get a bit of purchase ( you havent said what your trying to unscrew), if it would take a knock you could try tapping the screwdriver whilst in the screw head with a hammer that may loosen the screws as well failing that there is a screwdriver bit designed for such a job, i think you could get it at wilkinsons, ive never used it so i wouldnt know what its like, another trick is if the heads are exposed and you could get a hacksaw across them would be to cut across the head and make them a slotted screw then use a flat bladed driver on them, good luck one would be bad enough but three!!!
