Question:
Does a home improvement store like Lowe's carry hot/cold indicator caps for below sink faucet handles?

You know, like that half red half blue circular very small (like 3/16" in diameter) hot and cold water indicator cap that covers the hex bolt holding the bathroom faucet handle onto the faucet assembly? Can I get like a bag of them at Lowe's? I noticed that the cap was broken (one of the two teeth that snap into the metal hole broke and I tried to super glue it but it was too hard to fix).

They are called index caps. You would most likely need to order them for the model faucet you have direct from the manufacturer. Otherwise you might be able to replace the knobs which will come with new ones. They are not a generic replacement part however.

Hot on the left, cold on the right. Don't need to mark them, But if you must, you can use paint or just a red and blue tag for each faucet.

If they are under the sink, Paint the handles red for hot and blue for cold.

I can't advise them, however costco maybe your high-quality guess, considering that they have a liberal return coverage and tend to sell "excellent items". Returns rate them revenue. You frequently still want an skilled bike guy to go over the build.

Yes, there is a 99% chance they do. Just explain it to an employee or look online first. Good luck.
